Ring of Fire Tour
When you visit Homer, you will see distant vistas of Alaska’s volcanoes, glaciers, and waterfalls. Imagine soaring directly over these breathtaking landscapes in a genuine Alaska bush plane. The de Havilland Otter has long been the icon of the north country and we are proud to offer you an amazing experience in our Cessna 206 floatplane, DHC-2 bushplane, or DHC-3 floatplane.
After a short safety brief, you’ll climb aboard and take off on an extraordinary 3 - 3.5 hour trip across Cook Inlet to see Ring of Fire volcanoes Mt Redoubt, Mt Iliamna, Mt Augustine, and Mt Douglas. Our pilots are trained to get you up close for those incredible pictures that can only be taken from a bush plane. Along the way, you’ll see blue ice glaciers, wildlife, beautiful shoreline, and some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the state.

Richard L. Proenneke's cabin stands out for the incredible craftsmanship that exemplifies his unshakable wilderness ethic. He built the cabin using only hand tools, many of which he fashioned himself while living nearly 30 years alone in his cabin. Join us for an adventure you'll never forget while experiencing the history of a remarkable Alaskan personality.
Hop aboard one of our float planes, travel across the cook inlet, through the incredible Alaksa Mountain range and land on beautiful Twin Lakes. Only accessible by float plane you'll be taken back into history while you walk the shoreline of Twin Lakes and explore the cabin of one of Alaska's most famous men. You'll also cross off Lake Clark National Park from your bucket list as the cabin resides in the park.
